What happened to the rest of the Justice Society in this timeline?

We see the Sandman (Wesley Dodds) fighting along side Lois Lane in London but wouldn't there be the rest of the JSA out there somewhere?

Just curious how he could even still be alive if this movie is taking place in the "present" (whenever it was written, I'm guessing 2013 but it might have been slightly earlier...but regardless still pretty close to the present) the Golden Age Sandman would be pushing 100 plus years old.

Then there is the question of how effective his methods would even be in this situation. He is the only one with a gas mask and he is shooting sleeping gas around. Wouldn't that knock out all the other people on his side (as well as any bad guys in the area)?

Of course with varying wind patterns the gas probably wouldn't even work that well either way. In a closed environment like a study or someone's library in their home I could see how his character might be able to accomplish things but in an open fighting area Sandman would be a big waste on your team if not an outright negative.
