I'm not clear about one thing leading up to the climactic battle:

So Jon Hamm and his clan were painted as Trump people. But Jennifer Jason Leigh's ruthless debt collection mogul contacted President Trump himself(this was set in 2019) to send his federal forces(the FBI, or more?) out to Hamm's compound to rescue Juno Temple and bring down Hamm's operations?

Trump helped stop Trump supporters?

If so...hey, "balanced"?

If not...what gives

Whether "balanced" or not, I'd say that Jon Hamm represented the "religious crazies" who supported Trump for THEIR reasons, whereas Jennifer Jason Leigh represented the "pragmatic business conservative"(heartless business boss division) who pointed out that she gave Trump money so he BETTER send out the troops for her.

Put another way, Hamm's sherriff never had any real power(JJL messed with him real quick like by sending doubles into a debate with him), but JJL DID.
