I agree he was a completely lame character that served no purpose I can think of, other than to prop up the anti-male/pro-female angle this series was going for. Seriously, that female cop could have just as easily been single. It wouldn't have changed a great deal.

Well it went along with the whole debt theme of the season, but yes she could have just been in debt without the husband character.

He was incredibly ‘useful’ to the racist/sexist agenda of the season. Showing, once again, how evil straight white men are.

Seriously, Season 5 is the worst season yet. Absolute distilled woke dogshit pretending to be ‘entertainment’.
