Spoilers of course.

Great episode overall, intense. I initially thought we'd see the battle tonight and next week the fallout then denouement. With about ten minutes left I realized no, this episode is setting it up for next week. So I bet next week will be a doozy. Made tonight feel like Part 1. I mean none of that as criticism, just saying.

But now for the criticism.

Just a couple real minor things.

Rather pointless of Dorothy to turn the stove on on her way out. That just alerted Roy to her escape. He might've just chilled downstairs for a bit before thinking to go upstairs and see what Karen was up to. And she was also all "I'm safe for now" when she was very much not, still on the land and can see a number of goons. I thought she was going to try to make an escape in a vehicle, though that could've easily gone poorly.

When she went to the spot under the water tank, it was foggy. She could have just walked away and not be seen.

reply

yes, some errors on her part, but then again she is scared. she probably really thought that the stove would cause an explosion.

Yes, as someone who is supposedly a "tiger" or whatever (is there an explanation for her expertise given that I missed?), it was pretty sloppy for her to set up a bomb and not include a trigger. Just one of a few facepalm writing issues in this season.

reply

Include a trigger??? She was desperately trying to escape as fast as she could undetected. So she is supposed to spend minutes figuring out a trigger? Nonsense. It's true the gas did not result in an explosion, but it could have before Roy stopped the guy from setting it off. The armchair analysts here casually criticize heat-of-the-moment decisions when none of you (including me) would have survived.
