John Hamm? I don’t think so.

Malvo was a mysterious enigma. Tillman is a tired Leftist’s wet dream version of a Conservative.

Hamm plays him well, but unless there are some serious surprises this is a pretty one-note villain whose behaviour is very predictable within what so far looks like a tediously woke season.

Not Hamm.

Shot two deputies while breaking the arm of another. Stabbed another to death in the neck, and left a note on his chest held with the knife with the words written in his blood.

That guy’s a violent side character, like an evil Mr Wrench.

Malvo was the big bad of S1 and Tillman is the equivalent of that in S5.

Malvo was seen as the devil. Now as of episode 3, this guy is on a whole other level.
