What year should Season 5 of Fargo be set in if it's made?

That would be cool, but I suspect all those stars are too expensive or would be uninterested.

My thoughts are the back story of the Gerhardt crime family (or simply Floyd), Lorne Malvo or VM Varga, or the followup story of Mr. Wrench.

How about the sixties?

I thought they way they ended season 4 it could lead to season 5. Satchel in the car looking bad ass. I would love to see his story.

We need Mr. Wrench back, so has to be after 2016

Could be interesting to see how Hanzee Dent became Moses Tripoli. (Plus how he came to mentor Wrench ,& Numbers) And why he betrayed the Gerhardt's.

1920s

It would be an interesting take to have the next season be set 100 years in the future. The murder/mystery scyfi genre could entirely take place aboard a space station.

From the pattern they seem to have established I think Season 5 will have a more modern setting.

I’d love to see VM Varga return, what a fascinating character.
