This is my best character this season. Up until now, I thought he was being played by Joaquin Phoenix! Lol I had no idea it's another actor named Michael Stuhlbarg.
shareSure, whatever you prefer, but I didn't find him that special, and now he is in a coma. My favorite character is Nikki.
shareI think Nikki's the best character but agree that Stuhlbarg's a great actor... loved him in Boardwalk Empire and A Serious Man... it was hard though for me not to think of Sy as the reincarnation of Arnold Rothstein since he made such a strong impression with that character.
shareOh my god, that WASN'T Joaquin Phoenix?!? I was so certain it was him that it never occurred to me to check! And I thought the whole time that he was doing a great job with the role :)) - it was so unlike anything I've seen him in before.
