It's safe to say Ewan Mcgregor will play the biggest part, who else would you like to see in the series, even if it's in a smaller role? I'd like to see Sam Rockwell or Jim Carrey in this show at some point.

shareUma Thurman
shareI remember when FX had the series, Damages.
Since it was filmed in New York, it was surprising how many Broadway actors were willing to pop in for a small role in an episode or two, in between show performances.
Since this will be filmed around Calgary, I think, it would be a bigger commitment for some of the A-list actors, but, I've been so happy with previous casting, so I'm sure season 3 will have some happy surprises.
I'd be happy with any of the previously mentioned suggestions.
Not sure if he'd have time to do it but I feel like Ben Affleck would be amazing in this show.
I would also love to see Daisy Ridley and Tom Berenger show up.
I really want to see H. Jon Benjamin, in a comedic side role (kinda like the comic relief roles of Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele in season 1).
shareThis is honestly... Not the worst idea I've heard, I actually like the sound of it. They did the same thing with Nick Offerman from Parks and Rec in S2, and he was one of the standouts of that season imo.
I LOVE the fact that they cast Ewan McGregor in the lead. My other choices would be...
Walton Goggins, Garret Dillahunt, Bill Paxton and Michael Biehn. I feel like this is a show they'd all be ace in.
If Gwendoline Christie's character gets killed off on Game of Thrones, I'd like to see her play the female cop based from the season 3 plot details that were released. She has that serious, straightforward and that upbeat, funny personality from her interviews irl. Not to mention Christie also has that Frances McDormand vibe.
Just imagine the fact Captain Phasma chasing Obi-Wan Kenobi.
I thought I saw Sam Shepard at first, which'd be a fit. He's a fit in most everything though granted. Sam Rockwell though man that guy is a superstar! He's amazing, so charismatic, such presence, so wildly amusing in both comedies (The Way Way Back in which he was comedy gold) and darker films alike (The Green Mile in which he was hilariously nutty insane, and The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford in which I loved how kooky he was and how he loved to humiliate his brother). I will watch him in anything at all. And the dancing too! His dancing is awesome.
Aside from Sam Rockwell, I'd particularly like to see Barry Pepper, Bryan Cranston, Michael Shannon, JK Simmons, Shea Whigham, Tim Blake Nelson. I think they could all be a good fit.
Love JK Simmons and Bryan Cranston in everything they do.
They would be amazing.
Walton Goggins. As a cop. Dirty or good guy, take your pick.
Katy Sagal as a sexy drug peddler.
Bryan Cranston, if I can dream and continue with the Breaking Bad actor trend that keeps going.
Louie CK for a goofy, uncomfortable comic relief.
Michael Emmerson for a super villain.
Bruce Campbell for a cameo.
Terry O'quinn because I miss him.
* Sam Rockwell/Jeremy Renner as local bad-ass
* Michael Shannon/Peter Saarsgard as Stussy's crooked boss
* John Hawkes/Ethan Hawke as Stussy's friend
* Jennifer Connelly/Amber Tamblyn as Stussy's wife
* Sam Elliott/Vincent D'Onofrio as Stussy's father, local politician/cop
As the title says.
