Does the story and time change every season?

Ive only seen the first two episodes but looking at some pictures on the main page and looking at the cast it looks like it. Just curious. Dont tell me anything else.

Yes.
Season 1 = 2006.
Season 2 = 1979.
Season 3 = 2010.

There is the movie too, which I think from memory is set in 1986. There are cool little links in the stories between all of the movie/seasons too.

Would be cool for continuity to have Greta as a Deputy in Season 3.
Looking forward to S3 one way or the other :)
