One of the dumbest endings I've ever seen (spoiler)

He's having a party with numerous children attending, and all of a sudden decides to kill his wife by blowing her up. Did the possibility of hurting other guest not cross his mind? He could've offed her anytime later on.

Then Murphy kills Don as the credits are rolling?

What kind of stupid-ssA writing was that. It was actually an enjoyable movie, but the ending ruined it all. Horrible writing.

It would've been nice to see how The Chief closed out his investigation, but I guess since everyone is dead he was no longer needed. I'm gonna assume he eventually arrests Murphy.

He flipped because of the way she acted to his son and to the other kids with the piñata and because he saw the dog in the freezer. He wasn't planing on killing her but she was clearly going out of control and in a way getting addicted to killing everything that bothered her.. Haha.. What a silly movie..

On the bluray. I read that, but don't know what it is. Can anyone tell me? I agree about the ending, definitely not a good ending.

Yeah the ending seemed rushed and unfinished which is a shame as the movie was quite good up until then. The version i saw however didn't end with don dying though. Just murphy following him and his children in their car :/

You don't actually see him get killed, you hear it. As the credits start to roll you hear some shots, tires squealing, crash, kids screaming and a motorcycle assumedly leaving. It's subtle but effective.

Yeah its like "thats it??" besides that though it was quite good just a little anticlimactic.

You dont kill the family dog. So it was justify to kill people around them as long as they he kill the wife. ;-)

It's not meant to be taken seriously. I thought it was funny, and stupid. After all its a comedy.
