Reminded me of Serial Mom

When I was a kid, Serial Mom had me enamored. It's still one of my favorite, little hidden gems. So, when I decided to watch this (without knowing what it was about) I was extremely pleased. It brought back good old memories. Anyone who wants to enjoys A subtle dark comedy, will really like this!

I saw it as a spoof of Lifetime movies played broad, unlike A Deadly Adoption, with Kristen Wiig ,which was a parody played straight.

No. This movie is nothing like Serial Mom. Serial Mom was played purely for laughs and contained a minimum of gore. Home Sweet Hell is much more realistic and gory.
