Jeez. Grudge, much?
Heigl isn't amazing. She doesn't command space. She can be difficult to buy.
I think that's kinda why she works here real well as an automaton.
I don't even think she's a bad actress, just that she comes across too subtle for much of what she's tried to do in her professional career.
She seems like a girl I'd date, or something. She's got a couple of things to say, a few quips or whatever, but she doesn't put it right in everyone's face. She can't. She's too mousey of a gal.
She's a paintbrush. They need to quit thinking she's a sledgehammer. The right director/writing could get good stuff out of her.
