British never get credit, like the French in the American Revolution... One thing seems to remain consistent throughout the last two centuries. Germany is a country of pretentious jerk-offs who preach eugenics, then have an unnatural proclivity towards "sh*t", "potty humor" and scat. It's a noted phenomenon in Germany.... So they are arrogant jerks who believe they are superior in every way or are quick to look the other way when a German tells them they are superior... Seems either extremely gullible or arrogant, and they enjoy their own feces... Hmm... Coincidence lol? Kinda half-joking, but truth is there too.
ALL groups, empires, kingdoms, etc, with the most power in the world's past continued expanding, and raided then absorbed territories, right down to the tribal level... Any other time in history America would have gone on after WWII to conquer the world, history will tell if Patton was right, so far thankfully he was wrong. The diversity of American people from countries everywhere and Its very young age prevented this, along with the emerging 'humanity' of people. The nuclear bomb at the time was like going back in history with modern weapons and NOT using them to become a king or something of the sort. Egyptians, Romans, Persians, The many Muslim Empires and Asian empires, Qin Dynasty, Mongolian empire... I could go on... All expanded through violence until defeat. Does America stick Its nose places it doesn't belong? Perhaps, but not nearly as often as you kids on the internet want to say. The predominant citation being the Middle East war, which was arguably a response to an act of war with limited knowledge and heightened emotions at the time... AI government may be millennia away if we last that long but it couldn't come sooner.. Can you imagine idiots like Hillary or Trump running this country, cause that's what it is.... Ill take a purely logic based Gov over them any day, thats in effect what presidents and powerful people do anyway, calculate decisions based on factors, and emotional factors... A machine could do this much better and consider everything and predict outcomes beyond the capacity of human thought while eliminating the medium of emotion, do you know how many millions of people have died over lover's quarrels or sex-based interests? I mentioned Genghis Khan... He may never have even gone to rule if it wasn't for his wife being captured or his father capturing a wife. The tale of Troy? could be fiction, but it was essentially ignited by lovers quarrels or broken hearts.
Human nature. You're telling me a couple hundred years changed that? Doubtfully.. The information superhighway, even back then they had phones which was immeasurably faster than the old 2-4 week messengers it used to take, with straightforward messages and things lost in translation without body language, direct communication, tone of voice, etc. If Genghis Khan had been able to call Muhammad II and talk about a trade route instead of Muhammad relying on "rumor" of Khans to make the decision that ultimately destroyed his empire (and life), the Khans may never have obliterated Khwarezem then continued onward. How can anyone disagree a more open dialogue wouldn't have changed a TON of history. Now, everything can be recorded and everybody can -and does- weigh in on things that would have been "worlds away" a few hundred years ago, and only known to rulers.... So more accountability exists. This has stayed the hand of or stopped many a would-be Khan or Hitler today, IMO. Ahh.. Technology.... Simultaneously saving and killing millions every year, lol... Strange.
People are gonna continue to kill eachother, new major wars will be fought with the keyboard, wonder if I'll see anything major in my lifetime...Sorry for the long post I get stuck on something and type really fast.
tl;dr: nothing to see here move on.
