and unfortunately all you get. The cast is incredibly forgettable especially in the male roles. Reguardless of the action or gore, what keeps you watching is the occasional intentional poorly puppeted shot that just makes you laugh. Aside from that there isn't anything else to hold your attention. Rise Of The Animals was much better.
There was one shot where kids were running through a field and you see a growling beaver run across the bottom of the screen...cracked me up. That's the stuff that made this watchable.
Correct on all accounts. It had a few moments of puppet fun, but for the most part it's bad actors reciting bad dialogue in a poorly shot frame with minimal lighting. Rise of the animals was much more fun. You could see that's what they were going for here, but they never quite pulled it off.
There's worse horror movies out there, but this should have been funnier considering the plot...

I was quite happy with the ridiculous puppet work in certain shots. The one where she's on the counter in the kitchen and it's just hanging out on the edge, growling and snarling... you can all but see the guy with his hand in it under the counter losing his mind laughing.
you realize the fake beavers were part of the charm right?? This was obviously a horror comedy but I get the feeling this went right over some peoples head.
