I’m not quite sure what to think of this film
It’s well made, and in parts quite funny. But by the end I’m not sure what the point was, and just feel dismayed for the main character.
I’m not sure if 1) it suggests Scandinavian culture is so repressed that when you do rebel it will be chaos; or 2) it’s its a parody of venture capital culture (not quite).
It could have worked as a quirky self realization film (a la France’s Ha), but you never really get to know the character before hypnosis. In the end it seemed most to be a testament to the boyfriend’s (albeit also bizarre efforts at) love for her.
