Questions from a new viewer

Hi my name is Lauren and I am an addict. I just watched all of Veronica Mars for the first time in a week. Please help me with a few questions!

1. Did they ever explain why Veronica went to Herst to Stanford in season 3?
2. Did they explain why Lily, the coolest girl in school, had a boyfriend and best friend a year younger then her? And why she went to the dance with the other 3?
3. How early did people jump on team Logan?
4. Can people in Australia access the Dick spin off
5. Is Logan in the first post movie book
6. Where can I purchase the books in digital format (epub)

Thanks fellow marshmallows.

1. They didn't straight out say it, but it was all there. She didn't get the scholarship, skipping the test to get to the court for the results of the trial. So We can deduce she couldn't do her Stanford plan. Whereas the lady in the jury in another episode worked for Hearst and said she'd fight to get someone like Veronica there.

5. Yes, but not much. Just mentions and Skype calls while he's away on duty. He gets a bit more "screen" time in the second book.

To Love and win is the best thing. To Love and lose, the next best.

2. Not that I recall. I just assume they became friends in school. One year difference is not much. Usually school dances are multi-year/grade. And if not, if your bf/gf is invited to the dance, you're free to go (usually).

3. This is definitely subjective. For me, around 1.14-1.15 when he enlists Veronica's help to find his mom. Then of course, 1.18 turned me into a full on LoVe shipper!

1.Sending Veronica to Hearst for freshman year was really just a plot device to keep most of the gang together and in Neptune for season 3. In the real world, top-flight schools would be beating down the doors to give someone like Veronica -- the teenaged PI who broke the sensational murder case involving the tech billionaire's daughter and the movie star -- a full scholarship;
