So I haven't seen this yet, but I'm a huge fan of the show. So this question is for actual fans who liked and understood the show. Is the movie as good as the series? Does it have the same feel? Obviously they aren't in high school anymore, but is there a completely different tone since it's a movie, or does it feel similar to the series?

It's similar (Veronica narrates for example), but the format does result in changes like being more condensed.

Hmmm. Condensed how? I'm still gonna give it a chance. But I'm worried it may feel off lol

Well... it's a movie, so the story (including non-mystery related plot) doesn't occur over some 20+ episodes like the first two seasons, but over the course of two hours.

I watched it after binge watching the series, and was disappointed. It's not bad, but I did not like it nearly as much as the television series.

I think it mostly appeals to those who first watched the series when it first aired.
