Just re-watched it and one thing bothered me!

Wallace was a coach... wtf?
He was into flight engineering so why not have him working in that field. It really bothered me that they didn't give him a better 10 years later story.

Remember as a teen he was a basketball whiz. So it isn't far-fetched at all.

If you remember, he was having trouble with engineering. So I don't find it a stretch at all.

Yeah he cleared that issue up with his professor and decided he was going to do both. I do understand why they made him a coach because Veronica couldnt get him to get the file.

If Wallace works at the school, and if there is ever another movie, he can call her back to help with an investigation. I ant them to make another movie, lol!

Note that he's not just a coach but also a teacher there. He could be teaching physics or an engineering class.
