Veronica had more chemistry with Leo than Logan or Piz!

I never quite "got" the Veronica+Logan thing. I loved Season 1 of the show and continued to be a loyal fan despite S2 and S3 being not as great. But they keep trying to play the whole V+L thing and I really don't get that. He has so many issues and would make a horrible bf/husband and Veronica really deserves better.

I know they didn't get much screen time but I felt so much more chemistry between Leo and Veronica than she had with Duncan/Logan/Piz combined. But that's just me.

Totally agree. She had NO chemistry with Piz. I'm not sure why they had him in the movie. If Veronica needed to have some boring boyfriend to walk away from, it might as well have been someone we didn't know.

While I get them wanting to reunite her with Logan, he is never going to be right for her. He's just too much of a douche, and it's nine years later - she should recognize that.

The better thing to do would have been letting Veronica realize Neptune needed her, but that Logan didn't, long term, and thus stay in town purely because of the good she knew she could do there. And it would have been cute to maybe have her run into Leo at the last minute.

Fanboys (and girls) would never let go of Veronica and Logan. But they didn't work as a couple because she should've been too smart to fall for his line of garbage.

He didn't want a lover, he wanted a mother. She grounded him so that when he screwed up - which he always did and ALWAYS would do - he could make those puppy-dog eyes at her and Veronica would make him feel better about himself.

But he was NEVER going to change. And she should've known that.

Can't agree more!

I know guys like Logan in real life. And they're much better looking so the pull is even stronger. It's hard not coming to their rescue. It's like reverse damsel in distress. But in the end, they're just no good and will continue to cause you endless pain. And ultimately, a girl needs to do right by herself.

I don't mind that Veronica stayed in Neptune but I don't think she should've decided to return that early. Your small hometown is somewhere you go back to after you've seen enough of the world. And the world barely got a taste for the mighty Mars!

In regards to why they used Piz instead of a new character, I think it was wanting to resolve the story they were originally telling. At the end of the third season they were pointing to Piz realizing that Veronica would always be drawn to Logan. They weren't able to complete that arc, so they wanted to somewhat pick up where they dropped off, so had them split up offscreen (only due to distance and not because of Logan though) and get back together just for him to lose her to Logan as originally intended, rather than just do a "whatever happened to Piz? Oh we split up when I moved" resolution to the character.

To Love and win is the best thing. To Love and lose, the next best.

I'd love to see her with anyone BUT Logan. Even Dick is preferable!

I love Logan. He's my favorite part of the show, though I loved KB as Veronica, too.

They were both damaged. And in the end, I think they learned enough to make something work between them....
