First episode was good, second was so-so . . .

. . . and a reviewer noted that while the ladies penned the first ep, they didn't for the second. (It shows, unfortunately.)

I would've really liked if USA Network simply revived their short-lived 'BFF' series from NBC two years ago. However, I dig the pairing of St. Clair and Parham so I'll take what I can get right now.

I honestly thought the second episode was more well written than the first. The first epsiode relied on cheap humour without irony, while the second was a little more absurd.

I also found episode 2 a lot funnier than the first, mostly thanks to the gnomes, but the overall writing was much sharper.

So far I've only seen the pilot but it had me dying, I was laughing very hard during the whole thing.

I thought the second episode was hilarious, but the first is usually more of an introduction, so I'm not surprised that the second one was funnier.

Also love these girls, so I'll keep watching.
