Hilarious!

I laughed out loud at the jokes. Jessica, Lennon, and Keegan have an endearing dynamic. Two thumbs up, I'll be watching every Tuesday night.

Good luck to your future viewing. It had dire ratings compared to the massive promotion they gave it. So, 10 episodes and done, most likely.

I surely hope this disaster is cancelled and the sooner the better. I don't think Maggie is going to pop out her baby before this show is history. That will be 2 strikes for this unfunny pair.

Not sure why you would even watch 'Playing House' if you hated 'Best Friends Forever' so much. Both shows are really funny. Jessica and Lennon are wonderful. I really hope this show gets renewed.

I have actually changed my mind about this show. It got better as the season progressed. I wish they would have had Bird Bones Tina in more scenes. I think she is hilarious. I hope it gets renewed also. Thank you for your comments

What 'massive promoting?' What the f*uck is your problem? Why the fu*ck do you want the ENTIRE entertainment industry to collapse and fail? I guess you don't give a *beep* about the fact that will put more than a million people out of work, but according to you they are all COMMIES!!!! so they deserve nothing but to be shot in the face.

Do they allow internet access at the hospital, or do you keep escaping?

A few spots on their own network, one or two at odd hours on other NBC owned cable networks, and a handful of print ads thrown in random magazines is not a massive promotion. Or even a big one.

I have no idea why anyone even cares at this point 2 months later after the series has already completed, but your description of the media blitz isn't true at all. They had advertisements on multiple TV and radio networks (including non-NBCU owned networks) multiple times a day for at least two weeks. There were many print ads in multiple print formats. They also ads that covered the front page of multiple websites (including some animated) in the run up to the launch. Not to mention that Lennon and Jessica went on multiple talk shows to promote the show. And the response to the first two episodes that aired was pretty much tumbleweed.

Downplay it all you like, but Sirens on the same network had less promotion, and consistently did better than Playing House. As the series went on, there were some episodes of Playing House that were better than others, and the ratings did stablise and even increase at some points, so it could potentially get renewed for that reason.

I agree, I think it had some very funny moments.

"Well apparently there is a whole online community of women who specialise in putting things up their butts"

"..and and are they all German?"

"Well I don't know if they are all German but I think he prefers German because of their husky nature"

reply

I thought it looked putrid from the ads and had no interest in watching it. I came home one night, turned on the TV and it happened to be on. I was really surprised how funny it is. Hope it lasts.

I love the show, just as I loved that other show they did together. They seem cool and are very funny, but as stupid as they can be, they may not be stupid enough to please American TV viewers, who want everything over-dramatized.
