This show is SO dumb, and SO convoluted, it's hard to figure out WTF is going on. And the actors mumble their lines so badly that one can only understand about 50% of the dialog.

Elizabeth's mom is trying to find out who tried to kill her. It was her own father and the guy she captured... Which doesn't actually make sense because she already knew who tried to kill her and why... but supposedly there so other group behind the attempt to kill her and she is trying to find out more information so she can stop them from trying to kill her. Considering she was a KGB spy to begin with, it begs the question of who besides the KGB would be trying to kill her. Clearly the writers are just pulling shit from their asses because anyone with a grade school understanding of the KGB and the CIA would know that the KGB would be the only one trying to kill her the CIA would want to capture her alive... and the KGB isn't going to be coerced into letting her live happily ever after... so basically you have a ridiculous premise that the writers have decided to use and it has made the show a completely ridiculous waste of time.... If you have difficulty hearing them I suggest you turn on the captions it makes it easier to follow the convoluted mess.

Yes... but then this show loves to change reality and who people are on a never ending basis... So most likely one of them really isn't Ilya Koslov even though that who both of them have been claimed to be... which one really is is unknown.

I also was completely confused by the character E Keanes reaction to the women who just kidnapped her daughter now she loves and believes her the women who all season was killing and torturing people come on

But even his character has been made into some liberal douche with all the yammering about global warming and saving endangered owls... A cold hearted killer was fun to watch, but they've neutered him and turned him into some snowflake wimp. Hell he doesn't even ruthlessly kill people with abandon like he did in the beginning.. then factor in his lower screen time to we can get Liz and her bad acting and I'm quickly reaching the point where I stop watching altogether... I've already gotten to the point where I simply record it and skip over some of pointless characters like Aram.

just a few episodes ago he killed that black lady who saved, then betrayed, him when she was lying helpless on the floor after having that ridiculous videogame-like fight with Park,
& earlier in the season he threw one of his previously-loyal underlings out of a plane at 20,000 feet,
he's as cold-hearted as ever
And how many second chances as he given people. Remember in the beginning when he had no qualms about shooting Mr. Kaplan whom he was extremely close to when she betrayed him... yet how many times has he given people he had only a near casual relationship a second chance. Hell even the black lady he saved who then betrayed him was given a second chance before she blew that one too. The ice in his veins seems to be missing.

My only guess on Liz is this is the writers convoluted way of making her fear of being like Reddington come to fruition. So she's somehow using her Mother (likely to find out who Spader really is), when she gets what she needs it'll be goodbye Mummy dearest in a I'm my fathers daughter after all way or some such thing.

Do yourself a favor and just download the episodes off usenet, they are normally there within a day of being shown and the best part of doing it that way is the commercials are already stripped out.
