The victim was hit so hard by an SUV that it knocked her off a bridge and the ME couldn't tell? And the cops didn't think to investigate the bridge for evidence of a hit and run? She was last seen walking down the road on a rainy night and no one considered that she could have been hit by a vehicle? WTF?

This movie was so unrealistic. Sad that it's Clint's final movie. This sucked.

I liked the movie (certainly better than Cry Macho), but yeah this bugged me. If the victim had been struck by a car, it was law enforcement's responsibility to determine that long before the trial.

I don't know. I watch a lot of forensic files shows and most medical examiners and coroners are completely incompetent. They're always having to exhume and re-examine the remains to do it right.
