Bullock playing a much younger woman...
...was a little difficult to swallow. It took me out of the movie quite a few times. Otherwise, the movie was OK. Kind of ripped off A Quiet Place and The Happening.

She wants supposed to be younger. When Tom makes a pass at her in the grocery store she says that she could be his babysitter. Then he says “My hot babysitter!”. They acknowledged the age gap between the two.

shareSeeing she has such young children, you would think she would be in her early 40's at best. Bullock is 54, so she would have been close to 50 when she had the children. It could happen of course, but is less likely. Also, her sister was young, so I thought that to make it more believable, Bullock would have had to play a younger woman. I guess it doesn't stretch credulity for her to be 10 years younger in the movie.
shareWell... she doesn't look 54... she could easily be around 45 in the movie... meaning she was about 40 when she had the kids... which is not abnormal... which would also fit well with the comment Tom makes (about being his hot babysitter)... which would put 15-20 years between them... so I do not see an issue at all...
