That king is hilarious....

"Look at him. Of course he's my son. (that weird smile showing upper and lower teeth) I need a mirror to find a better likeness."

That made me laughed.

Yeah, I also liked his bit where he thought he was going to die, and asked to be shot rather than stabbed.

Yes, he has really grown on me. Ryan Cage does an excellent job. King Louie has been played by so many different Actors, it's good to see all of the Characters and their Actors merge into this awesome symbiotic relationship. Of course I love Howard Charles's version of Porthos (Gen. Alexandre Dumas Sr.) and Luke Pasqualino's D'Artagnan, and the perfectly imperfectly featured Tom Burke's Athos, they are all just so great in their roles. I could watch this for 10 seasons or more and never get tired. Obviously the crew has created magic together, the writing and aesthetic of the show makes it so enjoyable. Kudos. Waiting with bated breath for the next season. ahhhhh, The Musketeers. :)

Ryan Gage has done an amazing job with that role, especially given the change in character between S1 and S2. He sold it. Too often the King is just cast as this buffoon shunted off the the side, but Gage's Louis fantastic.

😂 the smile gets me too. Ryan Cage does a great job.

I agree, he was hilarious in that scene. Also, Ryan Gage delivers the "child" king really well. The way he reacted to his mother's presence, or to queen Anne coming back safe and sound after an attempt on her life, are good examples, not to mention the way he giggles every time he makes a joke.

Being King is SOOO unfair. LOVE HIM! The show would not be the same without him.

I loved that scene when he was crying in his mom's presence and pursing his lips to prevent himself from wailing. He looked so funny lol! Also his childlike tantrums are hilarious!

His silly smile, jesus... what a fantastic actor!

Nobody mentioned his eye roll when Bonair (not sure of the spelling) was saying something to him.
