Why White Iris is pulled from YouTube?

I saw it there last night. Came home to watch it tonight and it's gone?

Cool, thank you for responding.

Apparently, it was pulled because CBS claimed some copyright issue.

I can't say that I blame them. They should just pull STC, period.

Don't know how I missed that. I should have kept in in line-mode and not thread. Sorry chip. Didn't mean to double post.

Not only is CBS okay with this, they went out of their way to get it restored. STC should be safe for a long time now. :)

Having a very strange deja vu moment. Has this happened before? :D

My first guess would be possibly the stock footage / matte shot from Miramanee's hut may have been what did it, as it wasn't re-created, but actually superimposed, if i'm not mistaken. Could be wrong. Either way, I have the episode downloaded in its original form, and that makes me very happy. :)

Vic -

"I am pleased to report that, contrary to speculation, STC episode IV was not deliberately pulled by anyone at CBS. Several members of our production have regular contact with CBS Licensing, and I spoke personally with a V.P. of CBS legal over the past couple days. She's assured us that the takedown was not intentional, and YouTube has been instructed to reinstate the episode immediately. We have enormous respect and gratitude to CBS for their help in resolving this matter.

Live long and prosper!"

On an unrelated note, I would like to thank the eagle-eyed (eared?) viewers who noticed the "seven years ago" error. That was totally my fault, and I take full responsibility. Obviously the Tycho IV events took place 13 years earlier, not 7. It was simply a brain fart. The error has since been corrected in the episode. Thanks guys!

Guess I have to find an updated torrent or download? :D
