This show is pure Amateur Hour.
I'm impressed with the sets and props though; they did a great job replicating the original ones. That couldn't have been easy nor cheap. I'd much rather watch a documentary about that project than another episode of the show.

This is what I find most perplexing about this series, because according to the official website, many of the regulars are seasoned stage and screen actors with decades of experience. So why are they so bad in this?
shareBad writing, bad directing, and bad editing, most likely. Even the best actors need a lot of help from the writing, directing, and editing to come across as good actors, and even a random person off the street can look good in a small role with the right help. Put e.g. Daniel Day-Lewis in a high school play and he'll look ridiculous, along with everyone else.
