NOSTALGIA

Star Trek Continues has a nice nostalgic feel to it, right down to its credits. It's shooting style is consistent with TOS. The production value is excellent as it is tricky to generate great quality balaced with the look of early color filming. The story lines are in the style of TOS and the continuation of a couple of the most memorable original story lines are enjoyable. While I understand it is difficult to ensemble a cast as relevant as the original, they did a good job with only a few exceptions (Leonard Nemoy is just too powerful a presence to ever be replaced. The voice of Kirk us distracting and Uhura is being used incorrectly). Overall it's an impressive fan creation.
