Future Episodes?

Any word on future episodes? Anything at all? I've been scrounging around and can't find a thing. I know that the last fundraiser fell short after the Axanar brouhaha and that Ep.7 was grandfathered in since it was in post-production, but I can't find any news on Ep.8 or beyond. Perhaps it's over with but it would at least be nice to be told so.

Pretty sure that I read somewhere that VM said that it ends after the 9th episode and there are no plans for more which is a bummer because apart from the SJW themes that have a couple of episode have featured, this is by the the best fan made ST that I have seen.
