This movie ends either one of three ways
1. She really did kill herself
2. Haley Bennett killed her
3. Patrick Wilson is mentally insane, killed her, and can't remember doing it until the end of the film

Really hoping it isn't as simple as that because that is exactly the same conclusion I drew. However, it looks promising enough to give it a shot, and if there is a twist or element of the story we aren't seeing, I hope it doesn't muddy the plot to the point of it being a "it was great, but don't try and think about it too much or it won't make sense" kind of film.
shareWhat the heck is "mentally insane?" Is there another type of insane? Can one be "physically insane?" Or is this like "irregardless" and is some bizarre merger of "mentally ill" and "insane?"
Movies are IQ tests; the IMDB boards are how people broadcast their score.
