My favorite part is when Doug...

dies lol. I always say "bye Doug" when he falls off the side of the mountain. That's what you get for breathing so heavy, you pervert!

christopherstamas1982,

The question isn't how you were dropped on your head as a baby, but how many times?

You do know that this is based on a true story and that people did actually die? I feel sorry for heartless individuals such as yourself.

reply

Its a heartless post and all, but I think that what the OP thought was funny was actually the way the film depicted the fall. Doug was walking along and just...fell. There was no close up shot included or anything else to make it seem dramatic. He just fell. It did appear almost comical.

The man died, maybe not like this (no one saw him fall), but he didn't make it down, which is tragic. The way the film depicted his fall was poorly done.

I watched this movie with some people who knew nothing of the real story. They laughed when Doug and Andy died.

I laughed because the way he fell was funny. Doug... twisted Rob's arm to climb past the time. I don't care if it was his third or his final attempt, he should have turned around as instructed. Heroism and greed got him and took Rob as well.

AND Andy Harris, who came back to bring them oxygen!
