Loved the movie - any more like it?
Are there any more movies based on real survival events?
I want to see more movies about climbers mostly.

Touching the Void, The Beckoning Silence, The Summit (docu-dramas), North Face, The Climb.
There are several documentaries on the 1996 Everest disaster as well, most are available on Youtube.
I would add:
"Into the Wild"
"Alive"
which also deal with survival.
If you're not taking any steps forward, you're not moving at all.
Two movies that left me so upset after watching them, Into the Wild and Everest. Great cinematography/acting but tight stomach and grief knowing the sad outcome (and I know I chose to watch them!)
shareThought it was good. Heartbreaking in the last segment.
Can you fly this plane?
Surely u cant be serious
I am serious, and dont call me Shirley
I thought it was very compelling, and I enjoyed it. Very sad ending, of course; I'm glad I didn't know in advance which people were not going to make it.
Big fan of Josh Brolin.
My name is Roger the Shrubber. I arrange, design, and sell shrubberies.
K2 with Michael Biehn or Verticle Limit.
shareMeru. It's a full-length documentary of three climbers, who did the filming themselves while doing so. They had to deal with climbing straight up ice sides. Some people here commented that Everest itself is "a piece of cake" to climb. What the three Meru climbers did was extremely difficult, even in perfect weather.
