Very, very good film
Read the good reviews to help you understand. Very technologically accurate. Excellent use of suspense. Good acting. Way too many clueless movie goers.

shareAgreed. Excellent. Had me on the edge of my seat for the whole film
shareVery happy with it. They didn't pander to the idiots and over explain everything. They just kept it moving as it should be.
shareDefinitely a unique film that will probably end up with a big following. I mean, even Miami Vice (2006) eventually ended up earning a lot of respect and being an influential film, at least in term of craft/style. Mann used digital like a fearless painter when most directors were cluelessly shunning it.
shareEven Mann's "bad" films are better than 90% of what hollywood puts out. His films get judged alot harsher than most.
shareThe last relevant film Michael Mann made was Collateral and the Insider. Since then, his love affair with boosting digital sensors and turning talented Chinese actresses into unintelligible sex objects for his white male leads has made his films unwatchable for me.
shareIt was a great action movie and I enjoyed it thoroughly, which is the only standard I need to meet. Too bad so many posters on IMDb were disappointed. Too bad Chris Hemsworth's good looks are a liability. Too bad an Asian female lead (beautiful BTW), to whom english is a second language, comes across to some as wooden and bitchy. Too bad action movies don't allow for character development. Too bad 90% of the audience could care less if the computer jargon is 100% accurate. Too bad some have seen so many movies that everything becomes predictable.
I loved it.
Too bad.
