Why is everything green?

What is the symbolism behind the weird shade of green used in this movie? It's everywhere, the lighting, sets, wardrobe. It's a bit much to be coincedental so what's up with all the green?

Originally, da hulk wuz supposed 2 be in movie but they ran out of budget 4 cg

Just an artistic choice, I think.

Since some of Mann's classsic films (Heat, The Insider, Thief, Collateral) have had this heavy blue shade and/or amber color to them, I suppose he wanted to try out a greener look for a change. It works for this film.
