Whilst hard to come close in any realm to the iconic original, this has promise.
I lasted 15 minute on the US remake. Dire.
But if a remake must be done, it's a nice way to go with Dillane and the "Chunnel."

Wouldn't bother convincing the snob, he only watched about 2% of the US version and seemed determined to hate it making his opinion invalid. I doubt any version will top the 'Stephen Linder' character of the US version. Even though this is the 4th time I've seen this story I look forward to seeing another different portrayal.
