Clemence Poesy - dramatic change of character after 'In Bruges'

The first time I saw CP was "In Bruges" - I felt sympathy for her character. In "The Tunnel" her character has had a personality bypass. Unfortunately I have worked with people like her where work is all-absorbing at the expense of normal interpersonal relationships but her character seems to exaggerate this trait a little too much.

I read on another thread that she has Aspergers but so far , after the first episode, no explanation has been offered.

Without revealing too much, does her character mellow, or can we expect the same behaviour for the whole series?

I don't quite get what you're getting at. Are you stating that Clemence has had a dramatic change in character, or that Elise (her character in The Tunnel) is a dramatic change from her character in In Bruges.
I think it's the second one, so I'll go with that. By now you've probably already found out that Elise does mellow a little, and we find out why she is this way. I don't think it's exaggerated, I knew someone like that, who was completely unemotional on the outside and treated people much worse than she does, although his was a totally different reason behind it.

If you'd like to see her in a lighter, cheerier role I'd suggest the movie she did with Michael Caine - Mr Morgan's Last Love. It's a nice feel good movie about an old man who meets a young woman who turns his life around.
