Series 2 filmed for 85 days and had 50 additional days for pre and post production but there was a more high concept idea with the plane crash. Series 3 only has 6 episodes rather than 8 and sounds like it will be more like the first series with Karl and Elise facing a criminal duo rather than a whole criminal network like in series 2.
If they start filming in April like they did for the previous season to allow Clemence some time to adjust to being a Mum. I guess it would take less time turn around in post production because there won't be extensive special effects work needed to create the plane crash which probably took up most of the time in post and the reduced number of episodes.
Peaky Blinders series 3 was filmed in just under 5 months then was in post and on screen 3 months after filming had ended. Since they both will have the same number of episodes I guess it could be possible that could be on the air by November or December.
