Elizabeth & Lola
I really like the fledgling friendship those two are building. I think Lola sees and understands just how lonely and alone Elizabeth really is and feels for her. Mary has always had friends on her side; Mary was able to be with the man she loves. And I like how Lola managed to find a way to be important to Elizabeth by providing insider info about her own court instead of Mary! Lola's so smart; I love her.
But, eventually, Lola will fall out of favor with Elizabeth, especially when it becomes clear that Lola's loyalty - no matter how much of a friendship blossoms between the two - is still to Mary.
Side note: where is John, Lola & Francis' child?
Also, do you think they'll introduce Wolsingham (sp?) (Elizabeth's master spy) soon?
I was also thinking how sad / weird that Elizabeth doesn't have any of her ladies surrounding her - but that may be due to time constraints.
