So France will no longer be featured?
Love the huge shift in the last episode and it's always nice to see Catherine get her comeuppance.

shareI think the show will juggle all three countries, at least for a little while. They definitely will keep up with France to wrap up the Red Knight plot, but I would imagine that it will continue beyond that because of the strength of Catherine's character.
share^ Oh really? Although I do like the character Catherine but if she isn't interacting with Mary then what's the point. And let me just say this Red Knight crap they concocted all a sudden isn't my cup of tea, I just don't care.
shareWell if I'm remembering correctly, there are only 3 more episodes left for this season, so there's a good chance that the Red Knight thing will be resolved by the season finale. So I guess there is a possibility that French court will be dropped by the opening of season 4. This is all just speculation on my end. If they do plan to solely feature Scotland and England next season, then I hope they spend a decent amount of time in the next few episodes giving a good send off to those who are left in France - Catherine, Claude, Leith, and Charles. I wonder if this whole "save Lola" plot with Narcisse is some way to keep him relevant to next season's story for longer than the rest of the French cast members.
shareThere is to be 3 courts, as I understand!!!! Stories will continue in France, England, and now Scotland. Jeez, do you guys ever look up stuff? The show has a season 4 and I think filming has already begun. Stay tuned, that's my suggestion.
shareThe only article I've read recently was the one about Torrence leaving the show. Jeez, sorry to be such a disappointment. Maybe some day I'll be as informed as you.
shareWell lets be honest the show has been really lazy at clarifying what's happening. Kenna just left and a lot of people were wondering if it was permanent and now Greer has left again no real talk if it was permanent or not either.
shareI agree. They have not been overly forthcoming in the past when I have looked for answers on other topics (Kenna's departure being a main one), so it sort of discouraged the idea of seeking out articles and interviews now. I kind of figured that they would want to keep France relevant just because Megan Follows has such a strong presence on the show, but that was just assumption on my part.
shareThey can't lose France, because they can't lose Catherine.
What I could potentially see happening is that she has to flee France to keep herself safe due to all of this Red Knight stuff...or Charles banishes her for the Claude thing.
True, Catherine DeMedici didn't live in Scotland after Mary returned, but if they could explain away Francis not being sickly and feeble as being rumors, they could make up something saying that she and/or Charles has placed an impostor/double in the castle and smuggled Catherine away for her own safety or to keep up appearances.
That loses Charles and probably Claude...and thereby Leith. And if we are assuming Greer is truly "gone" she is out of the picture. The show could survive without them.
This gets the story out of France without losing the strongest performance on the show.
