Through the rest of Mary's life and end on her execution. Both of her final husbands have been cast for season 4.

I'd prefer it if they just do a "what happened after" type of ending. Maybe spend the final episode (or half of it) showing what happened during the rest of Mary's life with some narrative.

I won't be surprised if the final scene is Mary & Francis reuniting in the afterlife.

Good idea about having a "what after after" ending. I think I would be satisfied with either that or some foreshadowing of what happens.

All three of her marriages were notoriously short: The second lasted 18 months at best, the third effectively only two months with them spending the rest of his life separately imprisoned/exiled.The timescale of the show's not strictly accurate though (Dudley's remarriage was long after both of Mary's) so it's hard to say.
