Don't understand the hate.
Watched it this morning for a time filler. I thought it did a great job of fleshing out a classic short/Dr. Suess story.

shareI agree. It frankly annoys me how some people went into this movie already wanting to hate it. Kind of like what’s also already happening with The Rise of Skywalker too. I also liked this movie a little fine and found it inoffensive myself.
How do you compare it to the two other versions?
I think it compliments the original short very well. I honestly cannot comment on the Jim Carrey version, I've only seen bits and pieces, but I'm not a big fan of live action cartoons in general.
