For those as interested as I am in the real Franklin expedition
I've always felt that the story deserves the epic Hollywood movie treatment. As good as the series was, it doesn't quite do the true story justice--and that's ignoring the tuunbaq.
I think David Fincher, Sam Mendes, and Katherine Bigelow would all be good choices to direct a feature length movie about the Franklin expedition.
Assuming the characters were all to be recast, who would you guys pick?
I think it would be interesting to see Jared Harris play Sir John this time.
