McCarthy should probably stick with Paul Feig

Crippled by its sketch-y origins, The Boss never finds steady footing. At 99 minutes, it feels like the longest Saturday Night Live sketch in history. One you’re not likely to remember come Sunday. Even the outtakes that play over the credits are forgettable: http://www.cutprintfilm.com/reviews/the-boss/

McCarthy should probably stick with Paul Feig

If she stuck with Feig, the results would have been the same.

Probably BUT she and her husband wrote the screenplays for this and Tammy. Her husband directed her in both but I don't think it's the directing that is the only problem.

You don't need to worry though this will make the studio lots of money as has all her other movies.

The only reason she does these films with her husband (who is a poor director and writer) is to cash in. She's probably getting some big points on the back end of this. Plus, her husband is getting a directing/writing/producing fees on the film.

Sounds about right.
