People who didn't like this movie need to get a sense of humour
Lighten up for once.
shareOMG I KNOW!!! One review complained about "vulgar jokes." And "don't dakd your kids to this movie." HAHAHAHA. Doesn't he/she know that many of the best comedians use vulgarity in their standup? Peter Dinklage's character was absolutely hilarious. He was perfect.
shareI wholly agree, i hate no despise stiffs and snots! There's a great deal just on these threads on this movie, despicable, hateful people! Miserable wretches!
I was laughing out loud all the way through. Even her turtlenecks were funny and you get people whinging over them trying to analyze everything.
Actually, people who did like it need to find a sense of humor, as in having decent taste.
I'm very easy going with a great sense of humor, and so are most people who would go see a silly comedy like this (they aren't exactly the scarf wearing pretentious crowd that only see "films"), so that's not the problem. The problem is this movie was horrible so a good humored person could not enjoy it like they could a decent throw-away comedy.
I thought it was just ok. I didn't find the majority of the jokes to be that funny. I didn't mind the swearing or the vulgar jokes. I bought the unrated version on Vudu, so I wasn't expecting it to be rainbows and puppies.
I do like Melissa McCarthy. I like her movies, her work on Mike & Molly, and her work on Gilmore Girls. I also like Kristen Bell. She was great in Veronica Mars and House of Lies. So, I got the movie thinking I'd like it with the two of them in it together. But, it was just sort of "blah." I wouldn't say I liked it, but I also wouldn't say I didn't like it. It was just ok. But, now I'm wishing I'd waited until it was available to rent on Vudu instead of buying it outright.
