Why did Nora leave Kevin?

I'm not sure how to interpret her behavior. I thought it was because she feels responsible for Kevin's mental state, believing she brings misfortune to those she's in contact with (like how she felt responsible for her family's disappearance), but everyone else from the show took it as if she doesn't want to stay with a crazy man. I'm not sure what's the real reason now. What do you think?

I think it's a combination of both.

That guy (can't remember his name) had her convinced that SHE was the focal point (can’t remember the term) for what happened to others around her; no doubt, that was weighing heavily on her. AND…I think, that "weight", along with all the craziness that was going on with Kevin, pushed her...at that moment...beyond her ability to cope.

I agree with Trendrick.

I also think that she was looking for stability in her life. Kevin was supposed to offer that for her. He was just as messed up as she was, but still sort of keeping it together. But then once he started to lose it, and she started to believe there was a departure in the one place that was supposed to be safe, it just was too much. The veil of her safety net had been torn off.

Yeah fair enough, that guy convinced her she was a lens. Makes sense.
