Season 1...

It seems like every show is about zombies or people disappearing these days. This is probably why i passed on The Leftovers when it 1st came out. I made a mistake. The Leftovers is unique and high quality, thanks to HBO. The cast is deep with great actors. The language is refreshingly real. Some of the dialogue is uniquely great. The show has great potential. The concern of course, is that we'll never get to the truth or that once we do it will be a let down.

The Leftovers is unique and high quality, thanks to HBO. The acting is strong other than a few cultural diversity pressured miscastings. The language is refreshingly real. Some of the dialogue is uniquely great. The show has great potential. The concern of course, is that we'll never get to the truth or that once we do it will be a let down.

Nearly finished S1 and just noticed Regina King is in S2. If any one actor can f@*k up a great series it would be her or Don Cheadle. Sure hope shes not a main character. I dont see S2 being able to live up to S1 but i just hope it doesn't take a giant nose dive...

Finished Season 1: 9/10

Season 2...

Episode 1 starts off kind of interesting but then we FF to the present and it appears we will be getting a whole new cast. Fought through the 1st episode and found myself having no interest in watching the rest of S2 if this is the show now. WTF?

Season 2 is amazing and while there are new characters, it still focuses on the Garveys. Please watch.

SEASON 2...

The new cast members of season 2 are painfully bad. The new plotline isnt good. Ann Dowd continues to be brilliant as Patti Levin. Episode 8 is really good. 7/10

lolwut??? how does one not like season 2? that's just like blasphemy. It was the best season of television last year, hands down. The new characters were fantastic, along with the location change, and the way the season was laid out. Patti was tired and needed to leave the series... her character did not need to come back for a whole other season after already dying in season 1. That was the only downside to Season 2... but it did help with Kevin's downward spiral storyline.

S2 suuuuuucked compared to S1. IT'S OVER. #JUMPEDTHESHARK No worries though, there are lots of great series out there these days if you do your research.

i don't have to do any research. i have watched the best of the best of 2015 and that was it. the show in no way jumped the shark? are you daft? maybe you just didn't get it.... oop

S2 was the best season of any show I've ever seen...Ann Dowd deserves an Emmy along with Justin Theroux. This show completes me and will be deeply depressed when S3E10 comes around. Original OP doesn't get it.
