I really like this show, especially season two.
But really, didn't you find a little bit absurd seeing Kevin walking after being shot?
No more absurd than Kevin singing his way out of purgatory or dying and coming back to life because he was buried in the forest.

Yes, most things that happen in this show are probably absurd.
This show has always felt very...biblical to me. Kevin almost feels like some sort of prophet, resurrecting himself again and again. Maybe it is a part of his purpose.
