Alison is the most unsympathetic character ever!

I think Noah is a real douche, but good God someone needs to punch Alison in the face. The lying, the ego, the awkward silence in conversations, the ugly crying, the cheating, the immature acting... wow, she's certainly an unsympathetic character. I started despising her towards the end of S2.

Cole is the best. I just have pure empathy for him.

Her child died and she will externally feel responsible for it. She clearly has mental illness, maybe borderline. I feel nothing but empathy for her.

Now that she has a new child, she neglects her. Now when she has a new boyfriend, rich too, she neglects him. Not a single choice is correct. She acts like a 14 year old in a mature woman's body. Cole lost everything too. A son, his family, his wife, his ranch, but he doesn't go around being a douche.

Can't stand Alison. I had empathy for her in S1. Now, I just want her to get what's coming.

You're right about Cole, he is very likable and responsible. But he also doesn't appear to have a mental disorder. It might just be me but I can't help but feel empathy for people who are mentally unwell, which Alison clearly is. I have empathy for most of the characters though. Except Louisa, but that's mostly due to her lack of understanding and empathy, often being directed at Cole.

It's not like Alison isn't experiencing repercussions for her selfish behaviour. I don't think Cole and Louisa are just going to hand Jonie back to her.

What is the reason they have the kid? Did Allison tell him he is the real father. Otherwise unless she went nuts why else would he have her.

reply

I don't think she has mental illness she's effected by the loss of her child but mental illness no. She needs to grow up and stop acting like a little idiot.
