vancityjaxSo long cowboy, it was a helluva ride. That's a wrap on me. Endless thanks and gratitude to ' the affair' fam. Enjoy the season premiere tomorrow night #theaffair
I don't think it's necessarily cryptic. At this point we have heard nothing about whether they will get a season four. I have no idea when/if that will happen. He's wrapped for the season, so he's probably saying goodbye, just in case they don't get renewed.
Having said that if they do get a season four and Cole is not part of that, it would make me very sad. I've really enjoyed his story line with Alison.
Sounds pretty definitive to me. Seems pretty clear that he's done. And that makes me really sad. As much as I liked the premier of season 3, it was killing me once I realized we wouldn't get to see Cole.
I doubt I'd be a loyal viewer without him, to be honest. Unless something really compelling and different happens to keep me engaged.

I doubt he would be as stupid as to spoil the show for his fans. I wouldn't read into it too much. They also have contracts that they cannot give spoilers. It would be awful if actors spilled the beans about shows before they air.

So the Affair reposted Joshua Jackson's post with a bit of a correction.
Thank goodness!
