Noah and Helen

Interesting that Noah's perspective in the first episode, he's kind to Helen, not particularly rude and making his prison time some sort of redemptive action to make up for what he's done. Yet in the second episode from Helen's perspective, Noah is pretty horrible to her and says don't even bother visiting. I wonder if it's a matter of perspectives, or if that's meant to show his change of attitude after being in prison for a time and maybe coming to resent Helen.

The way I saw it was when Noah was nice to Helen in prison - saying it would be just like a writer's retreat - was at the beginning of his sentence. In Helen's perspective when he was beat up, it was way after that - when something bad was obviously happening to him in there.

I would think that being locked up would damage your perspective and attitude, so anything goes at this point.
